Ayer Commons is a 2-phase project that will create a total of 64 townhouse-style units, along with a community room, and 42 rental units in a mid-rise building located at
65 Fitchburg Road in Ayer, Massachusetts
Phase I will be comprised of 64 affordable and workforce housing units, and Phase II will consist of 42 affordable units. The project received a 40B zoning permit in January 2023, and a commitment of funds from Ayer’s Community Preservation Committee in October 2022. Construction is anticipated to start for Phase I by 2027.
